Quantic

I was Finally able to get my hands on a Quantic CD and let me tell you, it's one heck of a awesome CD. Quantic is the type of music I could definitely groove out to or chill out to, either way it goes. This song In particular is one of my favorites. It has so many sounds bunched up into a whole. It's like getting a deal, a 2 for 10$.It starts of with a simple beat, he says, "I have gained the ultimate knowledge" which gets me all the time.(he says it as if he's been enlightened, but to me, my ears have been enlightened)Then the volume increases I hear more of what seem to be some type of drum, guitar is incorporated, I mean the list goes on and on!although this song has a lot of sounds, it also keep harmony by being a bit repetitive. That's what I love about Quantic, it's simple, repetitive, but not too bland, very tasty!
My Other Favorites From the album The 5th Exotic Include:

  • Infinite Regression
  • Long Road Ahead
  • Time Is Your Enemy
  • Meaning

Boa small review

This is a band named Boa not to be confused with BoA the  Korean  pop singer or whatever. This song has some deep lyrics and her voice is very strong. As well as, the playing of the guitars, it's as if they're crying, I can't explain my self on this one so I hope you get what I mean. Also,an old  friend had recommended this song to me, at first I was a little hesitant but, like always I came around.See, that's the thing, that always happens. 1) I listen to the song 2) I hate it! 3) It's stuck in my head 4)Listen to it a couple times more 5)In love with it!!! so, next time I'm going, to make sure I don't jump to conclusions.

Josh Doyle

Josh Doyle is an up an coming artist who I feel has the potential to become big.His music is very legitimate. As well as, very real and genuine. Nowadays, many artist seem to have lost what this means, but not, Josh Doyle. When hearing "Concrete Moon", the instant  I heard "I cry myself to sleep, wishing I was someone else" I felt a connection to his material. I know I've felt like that before, many times! to say the least.
Oh! and if you're tired of listening to, hmmmm..... i don't know ,music with the same beat, and same repeating lyrics with not much  meaning. Then the solution is to, listening to Josh Mcfly,c'mon now don't be shy ,let the music take you away.

Crystal Castles

Crystal Castles is one of the weirdest band I have ever heard and I mean that in a good way! Their sound is so unique. They are experimental electronic music.Which, you don't find that often, other than Kap Bambino, or,  You Love Her Coz She's Dead( which I recommend to hear). I'm not going to lie, but, at first I found their music very disturbing and awful sounding. How wrong was I? Very! Anyways, Their was something that got me hooked.I can't really explain what it was.The sound, how they acted, maybe because they were just so distinguishable. You really can't come close to finding another band like this one.Give them a chance. Oh! Crystal Castles' song, " Not In Love" Featuring Robert Smith is probably the closest thing they'll come to normal.Again I don't mean it in a bad way.

Mathew Wilder

Ah! Mathew Wilder is infamously known for the song "Break My stride" and it goes a little something like this..."Ain't nothing gonna break my stride, nobody gonna slow me down, oh no, i got to keep on moving..." That song is just too dang catchy. Can't get enough of the 80's. Anyway's I decided to do a little more research on Mathew Wilder and stumbled upon "I Don't speak the language".I find this song to be more appealing to me.For the simple fact that it has the best chorus!

Flunk (For Sleepyheads only!)

"See through you" By flunk is a great chill out song. The album name is the perfect fit to describe their music.Very smooth, and soothing.I'm just making assumptions here, but it really sounds like it has a bit of Jazz influences. Aside from the jazz influence it has electronic, and down-tempo influences. Perfect combination of modern sounds and old, alike.Oh and let's not forget that amazing voice, it's innocent sounding and is not high pitched or anything.
